Sustainable Tourism
Each team must have 2-3 members. People who work and live in Viet Nam or Vietnamese citizens. (Members of the Organizers and the Judges are not authorized) Age requirement is 18-30. Your team member must work or live in Viet Nam during the contest. Official language for the contest is English. Except for the Presentation Round, you can present your ideas in Vietnamese but a copy of English translation is required.
Based on the theme of The Beach-leisure & M.I.C.E Travel Mart 2016 (BMTM Danang 2016) raise awareness towards sustainable tourism in general and sustainable coastal tourism in particular; while promoting and encouraging the developtment of Vietnamese youth awareness and actions.  
Tourism is one of the world's fastest growing industries and an important source of foreign exchange and employment for many developing countries. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development commits Member States, through Sustainable Development Goal Target 8.9 to“devise and implement policies to promote sustainable tourism that creates jobs and promotes local culture and products”. The importance of sustainable tourism, as a driver for jobs creation and the promotion of local culture and products, is also highlighted in Sustainable Development Goal target 12.b.
